NEXT100 Winner Priya Dar gets promoted as CIO of Godfrey Phillips India

Priya Dar, Head of IT Applications at Godfrey Phillips has been appointed to serve as CIO at the company. Dar, who is a 2016 NEXT100 Winner and was among the 7 women IT leaders felicitated at the NEXT100 Awards in December 2016.

 

She was promoted to the new position in June this year. 

 

Dar served as the Head of IT Applications at Godfrey Phillips India from 2012 to 2017. She has worked closely with the CIO to design the overall strategy for IT. She has interacted with business heads and functional managers to develop business case for new IT solutions and help business budget for the current and future applications required. 

 

As Head of IT Applications, Dar ensured IT projects were set up with appropriate governance and oversee the successful delivery of IT projects. Additionally, she also managed all applications across the organization and drive enhancements, vendor management through effective SLA governance. Dar managed implementation and operations of applications like ERP, Peoplesoft, BI, Webcenter Portal and engineered systems, Exalogic and Exadata, across the group.  

 

She drove significant IT based change programs across functional boundaries and managed re-architecture, technology, vendor, implementation and operations of enterprise wide applications, including BI and Portal.
