Google might have stated its social networking site in order to overtake Facebook, but that has not stopped the Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, from opening an account in Google + and ending up being the most popular on the network. At the time of writing this post, around 35,000 people were following Zuckerberg, and that incidentally is about 10,000 more than the number of people that are following Sergey Brin and Larry Page.
Perhaps the reason why Zuckerberg has more followers than Sergey Brin and Larry Page, has to do with his being younger and more handsome than the two. The fact that Zuckerberg has a movie made on him only adds to his popularity. However, Google + is yet to be picked up by general public in a big way. If that happens, then the status of the most popular person might change, and someone like Lady Gaga might take over.
