Sameer Garde takes on the role of Vice President, Ganesh Lakshminarayanan elevates as President

New Delhi: Dell India has announced key executive changes to its leadership team, prominent among which is Ganesh Lakshminarayanan, Vice President & Managing Director, Dell International Services, being elevated to the role of President & Managing Director, Dell India.

This is the first time that the role of President has been created in India by Dell. The post of the President has been created with the view to represent one single face of the organisation to the government, the IT industry and the community, across various entities that Dell has in India.

Sameer Garde takes on the role of Vice President and General Manager of Dell's Global OEM Solutions segment. In his new role, he has relocated to Austin, Texas to lead this team and will be reporting to Steve Schuckenbrock, President, Large Enterprises. Garde moves from his current role as Services Sales Director for LE APJ to this global role.

While Vikas Bhonsle will be the new General Manager for India Large Enterprise (LE) operations, Mahesh Bhalla, General Manager & Executive Director, Consumer Business, Dell, has now been entrusted with an expanded role as Country General Manager, India CSMB.

P Krishnakumar till recently Director for SMB Marketing in India will now be leading marketing strategy for the combined CSMB India organisation. In addition, he is also tasked with driving marketing for the APJ region for Dells mobility business.

Ravi Bharadwaj, till recently General Manager, SMB India, Dell, now moves to an APJ role as Director APJ S&P, APOS and EPP. He will be responsible for managing the revenue and margin for software and peripheral, After Point of Sale & Employee Purchase Programme for the APJ region. SNEAKERS
